Optic Shrouds

Optic Shroud (Level 2 & 3 Only)
Installation & Removal Instructions

Installation:

  1. On the front face of the holster insert the nubs on the bottom of the Optic Shroud into the corresponding cutouts on the holster.
  2. The bottom nub on each side goes into the circular hole, and the top nub goes into the slot. (figure 1) You may have to slightly pry the sides of the Optic Shroud outwards in order to successfully install the Optic Shroud.
  3. The Optic Shroud will not close if the Retention Hood is not also in the closed position. Optic Shroud should latch onto the Retention Hood when closed. Ensure proper function of the Optic Shroud by opening and closing the Retention Hood and Optic Shroud.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – The Optic Shroud is designed to help protect your optic from normal use and weather conditions (Rain, Snow, Ice, etc.). The Optic Shroud is not a guarantee that your optic will not be damaged during use or misuse. Blade-Tech is not liable for any damage caused to the firearm, optic, or other accessories when using the Optic Shroud.

Optic Shroud Installation & Removal Instructions

Removal:

  1. With the Optic Shroud and Retention Hood in the “open” position, insert a small phillips head screwdriver into the small opening created at the base of the Optic Shroud.

  3. Gently remove the Optic Shroud from the holster.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – The Optic Shroud is not directly connected to the retention mechanism in the holster, and should never be used without or in place of the Retention Hood.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – While the Optic Shroud is designed to fit a wide range of optics, it’s simply not possible for Blade-Tech to test every optic on the market for compatibility. Do not use the Optic Shroud if it interferes with holster use in any way.
